Bible Verses About Performance
Bible verses about Performance, from the Berean Standard Bible.
“If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.”
“And this is my opinion about what is helpful for you in this matter: Last year you were the first not only to give, but even to have such a desire. Now finish the work, so that you may complete it with the same eager desire, according to your means.”
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”
“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me.”
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
“For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.”
“Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song — His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation. Let the saints exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds. May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with shackles of iron, to execute the judgment written against them. This honor is for all His saints. Hallelujah!”
“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
“What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a psalm or a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. All of these must be done to build up the church. If anyone speaks in a tongue, two, or at most three, should speak in turn, and someone must interpret. But if there is no interpreter, he should remain silent in the church and speak only to himself and God. Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. And if a revelation comes to someone who is seated, the first speaker should stop. For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.”
“Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.”
