2 Timothy, Paul's final letter written from death row in Rome, charges Timothy to remain loyal, endure suffering, and faithfully preach the Word.

“Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.”

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and encourage with every form of patient instruction.”

“For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,”

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

“And the things that you have heard me say among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be qualified to teach others as well.”
